NSA Sets August 14 as Deadline for National Service PIN Code Applications

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced Friday, August 14, 2026, as the deadline for eligible defaulters and private candidates to apply for PIN codes for the 2026/2027 National Service year.

The opportunity is particularly important for graduates who completed tertiary education but were unable to enrol in the National Service Programme during previous years.

Who Can Apply?

According to the announcement, the exercise is open to:

  • Ghanaian citizens who completed tertiary education but could not enrol for National Service in previous years.
  • Private candidates whose academic credentials have been certified by accredited tertiary institutions.
  • Ghanaian citizens who studied abroad and meet the relevant requirements.

Eligible applicants are expected to complete the required online registration process and submit the necessary documents to the NSA.

Deadline: Friday, August 14, 2026

Applicants are encouraged not to wait until the final day before completing their registration and document submission.

The NSA says this exercise provides eligible graduates with an opportunity to regularise their participation in the mandatory National Service Programme.
