Job Summary
The Project Officer will help coordinate project activities across seven partner organisations, track project progress and deliverables, support field implementation, and contribute to project reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities across seven partner organisations.
- Track work plans, milestones, deliverables, and project progress.
- Monitor project activities and support field implementation.
- Prepare and contribute to project reports, briefs, presentations, and other documentation.
- Participate in meetings, trainings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Maintain effective communication and follow up with project partners.
- Document achievements, lessons learned, challenges, and success stories.
- Represent the organisation at relevant project and sector engagements.
- Provide support and cover for other Project Officers when required.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agroecology, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant project experience.
- Experience working with partners, communities, farmers, NGOs, or development programmes.
- Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A strong interest in agroecology, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and community development.
- Willingness to travel to project locations.
